I’ve been a fan of fitness YouTubers for a while. Watching them pull big numbers inspires me to hit my own lifts, and I turn to their videos for technique and training advice.
But I haven’t looked to the YouTube writing scene until recently. Turns out, writing and reading YouTubers provide similar community, inspiration, and advice.
I decided I wanted to be part of that.
So… drumroll, please!
I'm on YouTube!
I’ve started a channel and am putting out videos. I’ll eventually settle into a schedule (I’m thinking Wednesdays), but for now they’re coming out two to three times a week.
If you’ve been following this blog, or have connected on Twitter or Facebook, you know there are a few different sides to me. I’m a fiction writer, freelance editor, and former athlete. I’m planning to use the channel to show you all of that. So along with writing and editing tips, you can expect to see videos related to freelancing and health/fitness.
Blogging is great, and I love connecting on social media, but video lets us connect on a much more natural level. There’s something about seeing someone’s face and hearing their voice that helps us feel like we know them.
